While enjoying seafood in Brittany, Adil ACHIBANE was inspired by the shape and movement of seashells to design PODCALM, adopting a fluid bio-design with no straight lines.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, he drew upon the analogy of the maternal womb to create a sense of security and intimate connection, leading to the design of the enclosed capsule and the “weightless” armchair in a “zero-gravity” position. This natural and ergonomic approach aims to promote the physical and mental well-being of users. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017, an impromptu nap on the grass of the Jardin de l’Atlantique in Montparnasse led to a conversation with a colleague about the lack of suitable spaces for napping at work, thus planting the seed for what would become PODCALM.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drawing on his experience gained at giants like Peugeot Citro\u00ebn, Renault, and Alstom Transport, Adil ACHIBANE, a mathematical engineer specializing in mechanical calculations, who himself faced insomnia and stress, developed PODCALM.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initially designed to meet his own needs, he then transformed his personal solution into an innovative capsule aimed at improving the well-being of workers experiencing stress and insomnia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, PODCALM goes beyond the concept of a simple nap capsule to offer advanced technology that facilitates harmony between body and mind, thereby improving mental and physical well-being in the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adil continues to refine PODCALM, relying on scientific research, collaboration across various disciplines, and a strong commitment to product quality and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n
